There is still all most two months until Christmas arrives, but I have already posted my list on the ‘fridge! This is one of my favorite times of the year for three reasons, beside Jesus’ birth, 1. the wonderful music 2. presents 3. making homemade candy with my Lala. Here is my list………

Dolly Wood(3)

When we arrived at Dolly Wood this morning, the first ride we traveled to is a 55 mph wooden roller coaster called Thunderhead. My dad rode it by himself because I didn’t feel up to it because it looked scary but then after he rode it he went on another roller coaster that goes up-side-down called Mystery Mine. Now that one I definitely didn’t ride! Dad got off the ride talking about it non-stop. I asked him about Thunderhead and he said that I would have really liked it if I went. So now he told me that he would pay me $10 if I went on it and I did which made my vacation money jump up to $98. We met up with my mom and grabbed some lunch, a cut-up chicken breast in a tortilla, and then rode a few more rides. On our way out we got a popsicle that was literally bigger than our head. Next we stopped at the Candy Kitchen and I bought a large pixie-stick, a couple pieces of taffy, two hard candy sticks, a carmel apple, and a rock-candy lollipop. Then we went into a gift shop. I bought a make your own 12′ pixie-stick, and a tie-dye t-shirt. We headed out back to the hotel to get ready for the Dixie Stampede.

All of us just woke up about 20 minutes ago and we are getting dressed. When we get dressed we are going to head downstairs, of the hotel, to eat breakfast. When breakfast is completed, we will head to Dolly Wood and later on to the Dixie-Stampede.

Yesterday we went into the park and walked around until we found, ALANA!!! She was sitting on the Dumbos(elephants). Ever since we saw her we just rode a few rides and then went to eat at McCallister’s.(not with Alana) I ate a grilled turkey sandwich with doritos. Next we went to Bask n’ Robbins and all munched down some ice cream. I ate World-Class-Chocolate which is a chocolate swirled with chocolate-moose.

It’s 8:00 am and I am waking up and getting dressed waiting for our journey to begin to the mountains. I am so excited that I can barely breath! I’m going to have a blast!!

Night Before Dolly Wood

Tomorrow my family and I are leaving at 6:30am to go to Tennesee on a travel through the mountains to Dolly Wood. I am going to be there until Monday,October 12, afternoon. It’s going to be an adventure, even though I have to share a queen-sized bed with my little sister, Tanner(the 2-year-old monster).
My mom and dad are trying to convense me that the 3-hour drive will be “a colorful journey” through the mountains with the sights of changing leaves. We are hoping that the 30% rain chance on Saturday and Sunday will either only come and go, sprinkle, or best of all, not see any precipitation at all.
Right now I have just completed my packing and still waiting for the day to come.

Memorial Day Watermelon Time

On Memorial Day we ate watermelon in the rain on the rocking chairs outside. Tanner did not feel like smiling in this shot. And I did.

Tanner’s Early Birthday Present

Today Tanner got a Pottery Barn chair from Mom and Dad as an early birthday present. She was so excited especially because it had her name on the front on the back rest. Tanner was walking around the house pointing her finger at her name on the chair and was saying, “Dis is Tunner’s tair!”(this is Tanner’s chair) It was her favorite. Thanks guys!!!!

Tanner’s Egg Hunt #2

Today we went to Mommy and Me (a random group) at Jessica Jones’ house. We also got rained out at this one but we had an “easy to find” egg hunt in the amazing play-room. Tanner would not carry her basket so I carried it for her and she just handed me the eggs. I was a tad bored being the oldest one there because the second oldest child is 6 years old. But…… tomorrow Moo Moo saves the day! She is taking Peyton, Pacey, and I to an egg hunt that has the hunt by grade level. So I will get to hunt with only 3rd graders!!!!!! Not babies!!!!!
